Since developing the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) process in the 1960’s, Marshall Rosenberg’s vision has been to teach people of any age, gender, ethnicity or background a more effective way to communicate. With Nonviolent Communication we learn the art of expressing our honest truth with care and consideration for others. We also learn how to apply to resolve conflicts with more ease. We learn to ask for what we want in a way that invites others to respond to us, and we begin to hear the real needs of others. As a result we can enjoy strong personal and professional relationships and become a resource to our communities as collaborative leaders who have invaluable skills.

About Aya Caspi

After working for 14 years with business and social leaders in Israel, I met NVC at the end of 2007, when I moved to California with my family. I was immediately struck by the practicality and power that NVC holds in bringing people together in real collaboration and partnership, transforming separation into connection and conflict into mutual understanding. This magic is made possible through applying both compassionate and honest ways of speaking and listening, to self and others. It is my passion and privilege to seek and pursue peace in the world by sharing this work in all contexts of human life.
